• This sale contract is between the customer and AFA Furniture Inc. O/A the registered tradenames "F2 Furnishings", "F2 Contemporary Furnishings", and "F2".
  • F2 requires a minimum of 50% deposit to proceed with this order. Deposits are non-refundable. Balances are due one (1) day prior to delivery or pick-up. Acceptable payment options are: a) cash; b) credit card or debit card payment made in person at the store by the cardholder; c) e-Transfer; and d) Personal cheque, certified cheque, or money order, which may require up to five (5) business days to process.
  • All goods must be paid in full once the order has been fulfilled and prepared for delivery or pick-up service. All goods must be taken within 30 days of notice or storage fees will apply.
  • Several weeks and/or months may be required for fulfillment of special orders. Delays in shipping are beyond F2 control. No responsibility is assumed for delays caused by failure of others to meet commitments or for any other reasons or causes beyond the control of F2.
  • Dye-lot variation may occur. F2 is not responsible for these variations in finished goods.
  • All custom piece(s) is (are) made to specification, returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
  • Mattresses, area rugs, and carpets, once delivered or picked up, will not be accepted for returns or exchanges.
  • Final sale items, including but not limited to floor models, display models, promotional items, and clearance items are sold as-is without returns, exchanges, refunds, store credits, service, or warranty.
  • All approved returns or exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns or exchanges must be approved by management. Proof of purchase is required. Returns and exchanges can be submitted from the time of purchase up until 48 hours of receiving goods. Approved returns or exchanges must be done in original packaging and condition and is subject to inspection.
  • Prices of materials, labour and services quoted are subject to change.
  • No refund on service fees. Charges on assembly, delivery and/or other services are not refundable or credited. Additional fees will be charged for subsequent and/or additional services.
  • Deliveries are booked for a window of time. Please inform F2 of any obstacles that exist such as pets, loose gravel on the driveway, on-site construction or any parking restrictions outside the destination. If delivering to an apartment/condominium building, please remember to book the elevator if appropriate so that the delivery crew can access the building entrance and unload efficiently according to local bylaws.
  • Signature is mandatory. A signature of a person 18 years of age or older is required on all delivery orders and that individual must accompany the delivery crew into the destination.
  • Due to health and safety regulations, F2 delivery crew cannot remove their safety work boots. Please ensure floors are properly protected.
  • Please measure the relevant destination/doorways to fit the new furniture. Please note that returns or exchanges may not be accepted, or a restocking fee will apply if delivered and/or picked up merchandise does not fit through doorway(s) and/or hallway(s) or into room(s) and/or basements.
  • Rooms should be cleared in preparation for furniture delivery. Please be sure to clear a path from the point of entry to the destination and to the room where the new furniture will be placed. Due to liability issues, F2 delivery crew cannot move existing furniture or any electronics, TVs, or computers.
  • When unusual or difficult delivery conditions are encountered, the customer will be advised in advance of the risk occurring. The customer then has the option of 1) signing a damage waiver, 2) placement into a dry space on the premises, or 3) subject to eligibility for returns or exchanges, restocking fee, and management approval, having the merchandise returned to the store and reselecting other products.
  • The signed waiver acknowledges that the delivery may result in minor damage to a wall, floor, etc. and that the customer wishes to proceed with the delivery. Please be assured that the delivery crew will take great care to avoid any damage.
  • Damage claims for goods on Delivery and Assembly Services: if damages were found during the time of delivery and/or setting up of the furniture, please do not sign for receipt of goods and allow F2 to take the damaged goods back. When possible, F2 will promptly repair or replace (by manufacturer’s discretion) the damaged item.
  • Original sales invoice is required for all pick-up services. For instances where the original invoice is not available, picture ID and one other form of identification is required. Proper inspection and signature are mandatory for goods received in good order. Safe transportation of goods is the responsibility of the purchaser. Damage(s) that occur during transit, unpacking, and/or assembling are not covered under warranty.
  • Damage claims for goods utilizing pick-up service when proper inspection is unable to be performed for safe transportation in sealed packages: if any concealed damage is found when opening the goods, please take photographs of the goods and packaging, and email them to service@f2furnishings.ca with a description of the damage and invoice number, followed by calling the F2 service department within 48 hours of receipt. When possible, F2 will promptly repair or replace (by manufacturer’s discretion) the damaged goods.
  • Submit warranty claims to service@f2furnishings.ca. For fast and efficient claims, please include the following important information about the goods: 1) on the subject line, “Claim – [invoice number / the goods’ name]; 2) in the email body, a description of the claim and contact information; 3) attached photographs of the goods in question. When possible, F2 will promptly repair or replace (by manufacturer’s discretion) the damaged goods.
  • For warranty to be in effect, goods must have been used for its intended purpose through normal use. Defects resulting from negligence, misuse, accidents, discolouration from sunlight, abnormal wear and tear, fading, shrinkage/rippling of any fabric, or from use unintended for commercial purposes, are not covered by warranty.
  • Retain your original sales invoice as proof of purchase for warranty, as covered by the manufacturer.
  • In this contract, words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa. Words importing gender include the masculine, feminine, and all genders.
